The firm offers a comprehensive real estate practice which includes not only commercial litigation and transactions, but also assistance with the scale and transfer of business and farm realty and assets. The law firm has experience with foreclosures, condemnations, mechanic's liens, landlord-tenant disputes, title actions, easement disputes, boundary-line disputes, and other issues relating to the ownership, sale, or lease of property.

Estate planning services include such basics as drafting Trusts, Wills, Living Wills and Durable Powers of Attorney, to more complex plans to assist clients in realizing their estate planning objectives.

Members of the firm are actively involved in their community, serving in a variety of capacities. The firm's members provide leadership to enhance the quality of life within their state and local communities. Their involvement ranges from membership in local service clubs to positions of responsibility on local and state-wide charitable and educational boards.

To Our Profession
Four of the current and past members of the firm have served as president of the South Dakota State bar Association. Other state bar positions occupied by firm members have included Chairs of the Bar's Ethics Committee, Administrative Law Committee, Continuing Legal Education Committee, and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. Their law association involvement also includes the American Bar Association, American Bar Foundation, Defense Research Institute (DRI), American Board of Trial Advocates, American College of Trial Lawyers, International Society of Barristers, American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, South Dakota Defense Lawyers Association, and the Central South Dakota Teen Court.
